The Bluestem PACE Good Neighbor Fund is a ministry of Bluestem PACE and its loyal supporters. This fund assists participants who encounter unforeseen circumstances (i.e. modifications to a participant’s home, updated heating/cooling, extermination services, etc.). Contributions that exceed annual fundraising goals may be allocated to the PACE - Bluestem Legacy Endowment, ensuring long-term support and sustainability to assist Bluestem PACE in providing high quality services.

A Gift in your Will

A gift made through your will can mean a tremendous difference for participants at Bluestem PACE. These gifts can be made for a specific amount, a percentage of your estate or by leaving the remainder of your estate to Bluestem PACE after all your instructions are completed.

Gifts that Pay you Income

A charitable gift annuity is a way to make a gift to Bluestem PACE while receiving a fixed rate of return for the remainder of your life.

A charitable remainder trust is an arrangement in which property or money is put into a trust to benefit Bluestem PACE, but the donor continues to use the property and/or receive income from it while living. The beneficiaries receive the income, and the charity receives the principal after a specified period of time. 

Gift through Life Insurance

Designate Bluestem PACE as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. You can also gift an insurance policy to Bluestem PACE with Bluestem PACE as the owner of the policy.

Gift through Retirement Plans

Make Bluestem PACE a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), SEP, Keogh, or other qualified retirement plan.  It does not cost anything to make this change. The administrator of your plan can give you a one-page form to make this change.

• It is revocable.
• It reserves all of the assets for your use if you need them.
• It can save taxes for you and your estate.
• It can make more money in your estate available to your family and friends.

Gifts of Grain

You can gift grain to benefit Bluestem PACE while also deducting the cost of production and potentially qualifying for other tax benefits as well. You sell the commodity, and the buyer writes the check to Bluestem PACE (also forwarding a scale ticket or auction receipt). Or, you can designate an amount of grain to be held at an elevator for Bluestem PACE, notify the fund advancement office, and we will direct the sale.

Medical Equipment Donations

Bluestem PACE has a need for durable medical equipment, such as hospital beds, lift chairs, ramps for homes, etc. These items can be new, but do not have to be. Bluestem PACE is happy to accept used items that are in good condition.
